We wouldn’t accomplish anything without their energy, dedication, talent and love of the community through children rights advocacy/gender equality, empowering,improving food security and health by strengthening the food system, identifying value-add practices and retaining more profit back to rural communities through funding programs that assist the poor and other marginalized communities through economic strengthening,capacity building,vulnerable children support while playing a role in advancing social change.

The The Gen Excecutive Director

David Founder

David Founder got the idea for The Gen Foundation as a Church Minister at Lodwar in 2016. Before launching the organization in 2018, he received his Diploma in Theology, Guiding and Counseling Certificate in leadership and volunteered with the Life spring Chapel, Christian Glory Center and Restoration Harvest Mission. Today, David continues to serve on our Board to offer strategic guidance and fundraising support.

Benson Director

Born on 04/05/1980 and from 1998 to date He has been Researching and Developing in the community as a volunteer/mentor towards empowering sustainable communities through poverty eradication, social entrepreneurship.

HIV/AIDS, Community Development, Sustainable Agriculture, Environment Conservation, Renewable Energy and IT support, towards a friendly digital world environment.

He has vast experience in founding and mentoring different FBOs, CBOs, Companies, schools, Youth Groups, Women Groups and Self-Help groups in the rural villages.

He is using the skills and experience he has gained to positively contribute to the ecosystem and sharing his talents, expertise, and empathy with other experts.

He happens to be among those tackling the greatest challenges facing the world thus from climate change to income inequality and from political oppression to access to clean sustainable environment

leveraging training, mentor ship and community development unleashing a lifetime of impact networking with other urban development experts.

Resource, hazard specialists, poverty adversaries and others who are exploring the path to a sustainable world.

Stellah Ekaale Director

Stellah was raised in Turkana County and earned a Diploma in medicine at Kenya Medical College University. Stella taught middle school for eight years, honing her skills as both an educator, girl child and women gender violence through peace and reconciliation and a field trip guru. She’s also a fluent English, Swahili and Ng’a Turkan speaker, opening the door to more bilingual volunteers in The Gen Foundation community Knowledge transfer programs.
